Davy's Heart.

One of the main reasons to run pirate dungeon is for Davy Jones' Heart.
It's a valuable item that's needed to recruit a Sailor mercenary.

Because there can only be a MAX of 2 hearts per run, we obviously cannot give everyone a heart on the first dungeon.

We need to devise a way to create a line of sorts that will be fair for all those who can do pirate.

Idea 1 : We can sort the list by participation points and then alphabetically. So whoever has the most points and is alphabetically in line first will receive the heart from run.

Idea 2 : Go by guilds. We'll list the guilds in alphabetical order and then use participation points to decide who receives the heart. For example, it's Havoc guild's turn to receive the hearts. Whoever has the most points of that guild will receive the heart, then, if we have another, we move to the next guild and do the same.

I'd love your thoughts on these as well as new suggestions.
Please reply here and I'll get a general consensus and then do a final poll to make the decision.

id say something along the lines of idea 2. do it by contribution.. whoever's guild has the highest total level showing up. then guild leaders can figure it out. reset total for that guild when they get a heart.

eg LoS shows up with total level of 489. Sin shows up with 590. Saints shows up with 600.

So saints and sin would get one heart each.. then the guild leaders can deal with it as they please. (Assuming your members of your guild are happy with the way their leaders run things). Then next run if we get another 2 hearts then LoS would get one (probably) since we would have 489 + whatever points showed up for the run.

I just think doing a participation points list for everyone in every guild can get quite messy.. up to 500 people.. though realistically wont ever happen since not everyone can go because of level etc. but it will simplify things.

Here's another option brought up by Sui's leader, Benawii.

He suggested selling the hearts and splitting the gold evenly to all who attended.
I like that idea since its fair and even..
But it also eliminates chances for the pirate merc >_<

No it doesn't prevent anyone from getting a pirate. The hearts that we get can be bought by nation members or anyone else. As long as the price is reasonable it will be fair. A similar but easier approach is to distribute the hearts randomly to people that participated, although personally I prefer distributing gold (no chance involved).

Many people can't come up with that much gold to buy the heart >_<
Making their chances for a pirate completely disappear.
Because the hearts pop up, it's a good chance to help people like that..
but I do see your point ben, It's much more fair distributing gold.
